My sister Georganna will always be in my memory as the older sister who loved her family deeply. She doted on her granddaughters and deeply loved her sons. She appreciated the kindness of her daughter-in-laws and the love they gave to her sons and grandchildren. She was a good wife and companion to her husband. They had many years of happy marriage.
I hope Georganna finds peace and release from the terrible disease of Alzheimer.
We will miss you!

My sister, Georganna, was almost five years older than me(Mary Eppert Thistlethwaite). We became sister/friends when my daughter, Denise, was born in July 1964 and Georganna´s son, Gary, was born in November. In 1967, my daughter, Karen, was born in March and Georganna´s son, Ken, was born in August. I have so many great memories from the years our children were growing up together. Georganna often hosted our family gatherings( even though she was working full time at State Farm) after our parents died. There was so much joy in those years.
Dementia is such a horrible disease. It eventually robs a person of everything that makes you you. My sister faded away over the last few years. She didn´t know anyone at the end. She is now at peace. We will always miss her...she´s forever in our hearts.
