Georganna Sue Wiseman, 82, of Carmel, passed away August 31, 2025. She was born on October 28, 1942, in Frankfort, IN, daughter of George and Anna (Clark) Eppert.

Georganna enjoyed her high school years at Westfield High School while being involved in 4-H Club, Sunshine Society, and the Commercial Club. She enjoyed theater and during her junior school year, she played the role of "Mrs. Florence Bracken" and her senior year, Georganna took the role of "Mrs. Tom Allen". Georganna was a 1960 graduate of Westfield High School and later took courses that aided in her career.

Georganna had a long career at State Farm Insurance, where she worked for over 30 years. She retired from the claims office in 2007, then remained on short term assignments with State Farm until her final retirement in 2017. She continued to work part time until her husband's passing in 2023. She could be seen with a smile on her face while she worked at Honey Baked Ham, Dairy Queen, and Freddy's.

Georganna loved to do puzzles and was always known to be working on a Sudoku, Word Search or Crossword book. She loved to be creative whether that be drawing, sewing, needlepointing, quilting or carving and painting pottery. She loved to bake and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen with her sons and then later her granddaughters. She was known for making delicious pies, cakes, and cookies, especially cherished family recipes.

In addition to her parents, Georganna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ed Wiseman; adored son, Gerald Wiseman; and dear brother, James Eppert.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Wiseman (Sherri); grandchildren, Sara Wiseman, Emily Wiseman, Grace Wiseman (Ashley), and Katie Wiseman; siblings, Mary (Larry) Thistlethwaite, Margaret (Steve) Ruth, Dave (Sandy) Eppert, and Richard (Sally) Eppert.

Family and Friends will gather, Monday, September 8, 2025, at 10 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 am.

Burial will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens cemetery, Whitestown.

My sister Georganna will always be in my memory as the older sister who loved her family deeply. She doted on her granddaughters and deeply loved her sons. She appreciated the kindness of her daughter-in-laws and the love they gave to her sons and grandchildren. She was a good wife and companion to her husband. They had many years of happy marriage.

I hope Georganna finds peace and release from the terrible disease of Alzheimer.

We will miss you!

My sister, Georganna, was almost five years older than me(Mary Eppert Thistlethwaite). We became sister/friends when my daughter, Denise, was born in July 1964 and Georganna´s son, Gary, was born in November. In 1967, my daughter, Karen, was born in March and Georganna´s son, Ken, was born in August. I have so many great memories from the years our children were growing up together. Georganna often hosted our family gatherings( even though she was working full time at State Farm) after our parents died. There was so much joy in those years.

Dementia is such a horrible disease. It eventually robs a person of everything that makes you you. My sister faded away over the last few years. She didn´t know anyone at the end. She is now at peace. We will always miss her...she´s forever in our hearts.
