George Archer Obituary
George received his education through the public schools of Petersburg, Virginia. He was later employed with the National Business Service (USCG). George deeply loved and cherished his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Lawrence Archer and one sister, Elanda Archer.
George's loving memories will be forever cherished by his loving devoted family: wife, Helen Jackson-Archer; sons, Derek (Cherrell) Archer and Darren (Deneen) Archer; daughters, Sharimen Archer, Sabrina (Robert) Hawkins, Eulanda Archer, Annette (Marcus) Peterson-Smith, Carolyn (John Jr.) Peterson, and Kim (Leroy) Allen; brothers, Bobby Archer and Nelson Archer; sisters, Brenda Spence and Gloria Jackson; along with a host of cousins, extended family, and many dear friends; grandchildren, Shanelle Archer, Jessica Delbridge (Alan Delbridge), Tyrell Ross-Archer, Shakazaah Robinson Ross-Archer, Darren Archer, Destiny Archer, Travon Peterson, Trevonta Peterson, Jerreka Peterson, Jarvarius Peterson, Da'Shawn Turner Archer, Micha Jackson Archer, Aaliyah Archer Mann, Keenan Cuthrell Jr., Kai Archer, Marquis McCalister, Takita Allen, Anthony Stith, Jefferson Herriott, and Joshua Herriott, and a host of twenty-four great-grandchildren. George Lee Archer, Jr.'s legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to shine through generations to come.
