Mr. George Willie Bap Roberts

Mr. George Willie Roberts "Bap" was born in Thomson, GA on Monday, February 8, 1954, to both the late Eleanor "Ella" Hampton Roberts and Bert Roberts, Sr. At an early age, he joined New Zion Hill A.M.E. Church in Thomson, GA. He was educated in the McDuffie County School System of Georgia. Bap was a man with a good heart. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He was never a selfish person, Bap always thrived to help someone along the way. He had a passion for wrestling, and most of the time that's exactly what you will find playing on the television.
Sometime after high school, Bap moved to Florida. While in Florida, he performed construction work. He later relocated back to Georgia, and while living in Georgia, he worked for the former Thomson Oak and Flooring Company and Georgia Iron Works. Bap truly loved his family. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family members and friends and treasured every moment with them. Not only was he a devoted father figure; he was also a devoted brother and uncle as well. He will be missed more words could say. We'll remember him with so much love, and we will never forget his all-time favorite sayings "hey good looking" and "who loves you more than Bap(?)...nobody."
In addition to his parents, our beloved George Willie Roberts "Bap" is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kay Render Roberts; a daughter, Quolanda Tombs "Gugu"; four sisters, Lillie Mae Crushfield, Ora Lee Bailey, Ella Kate Coe and Estella Huff; five brothers, Eddie "Jack" Farmer, Bert Roberts Jr., Oscar "Peter" Roberts, Austin "Bo" Roberts and Sam Roberts.
Left to cherish the sweetest of memories: four daughters, Stephanie Eubanks of Fort Pierce, FL, Tafayia "Bucci" Tackie, Tonya Render, all of Ozark, AL and his baby-girl, Benzenia "Ben" Williams of Jacksonville, FL; several grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille (Ervin) Kendrick and Nancy McNair, all of Thomson, GA; one brother, Johnny Roberts of Thomson, GA; two sisters-in-law, Cassandra Render of Fort Pierce, FL and Ernestine Thely of Thomson, GA; a brother-in-law, Alfonso Huff of Wrens, GA; three devoted nieces, Latasha Leverett, Domonique Roberts, Mercedes Huff, all of Thomson, GA and Michelle Roberts all of Augusta, GA; a devoted best friend, Freddie Collins of Thomson, GA; a host of additional nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many additional friends.
