George Brabham

George Thomas Brabham was born on October 18, 1936, in Bryan's Mill, Texas, where he grew up and attended Paul Pewitt School in Naples, TX. He graduated from SMU with a business degree. He was an entrepreneur, an independent insurance agent, a real estate agent, and he was an active citizen of Daingerfield, serving on the Water District, and a devoted member of the United Methodist Church in Daingerfield as well as Northwest Hills United Methodist Church in Austin, serving as a Stephen Minister. He is survived by his wife, Pat, daughter Cassie and her husband Ben, their children Sydney and Cathryn ("Greer") Wheatley, and by his son, Bradley Brabham and his children, Grace and Hunter, and his wife Lilliana, and their daughter, Savannah. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Teri Nell, and his parents, Vera Nell ("Bubba") and Jamie Brabham. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 8, 2025 at Daingerfield Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home in Daingerfield. In lieu of flowers or food, the family requests donations to any food bank.
