Celebrating the life of Martha Ann Minter, a resident of Mount Pleasant, Texas and former longtime resident of Cason, Texas, who was born on December 27, 1934, in Cason, Texas. Martha was a beacon of compassion and care throughout her life, qualities that shone brightly in her long career as a registered nurse. She dedicated many years of service to Good Shepherd Medical Center and the Pittsburg Hospital, where her warmth and dedication impacted many lives.
Martha was a cancer survivor, a testament to her resilience and strength. Her zest for life was evident in her love for FBI shows, her unwavering work ethic, and her deep affection for her dogs and cats. She lived a life characterized by a steadfast commitment to taking care of others, both in her professional and personal spheres.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter Susan Reddick and her husband Andy of Bedford; her sons, Thomas K. Henry III and his girlfriend Lynn Fry of Mount Pleasant, and Michael Henry of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren Shelby Henry, Ashley Donaldson, Jenna Henry, Jennifer Reddick, and Danny Reddick; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Bolten of St. Louis, MO.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Cecil and Beatrice Salmon Minter; her husband, Thomas K. Henry, Jr.; her son, Mark Henry; her grandson, Anthony Reddick; her sister, Carolyn Dyas; and her brother, T.C. Minter.
Martha's life was a profound example of kindness, courage, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and forever remembered for the countless lives she touched.
A service will be held by her graveside 10 AM Monday, November 10, 2025 at Hickory Hill Cemetery in Cason Horn with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Family Funeral Home of Daingerfield.
