George Randall "Randy" Brown, a beloved father, veteran, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in Hampton, Virginia, at the age of 85. Born on March 11, 1940, in Kenansville, North Carolina, Randy lived a life marked by dedication, service, and a love for family and community.

Randy proudly served his country as a training instructor with the U.S. Army, where he imparted his knowledge and skills to countless soldiers. His commitment to service was a testament to his character and integrity.

Beyond his professional life, Randy found joy in simple pleasures. He was known for his culinary talents, particularly his skill in cooking BBQ at St. Marks Church alongside his dear friend Billy May. His passion for farming and working on old cars and farm equipment was well-known among those who knew him best, reflecting his love for both tradition and innovation.

Randy was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Bonnie Hayes Brown, his father, George Franklin Brown, and his mother, Vertie Brown Benson. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in his surviving sons, Michael Brown, William Brown, and David Brown, who will carry forward his memory and values.

At this time, no services are planned. Randy's family and friends will remember him privately, honoring his life and the indelible mark he left on their hearts.

In remembrance of George Randall "Randy" Brown, may we celebrate a life well-lived and a man deeply loved.
