George H. Busot

George H. Busot, 56, a native of Bayamon, Puerto Rico and resident of Luling passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023. Visitation will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery. George was survived by his wife, Stacy Gaudet Busot; children, Ian Busot, and Malayna Busot; sister, Darleen (Pedro) Garcia; niece, Alex; nephews, Carlos, Eric, Corey, and Jason; father & mother-in-law, Pete and Sylvia Gaudet; brother & Sister-in-law, Mark and Angela Scott. George was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Busot; mother, Mary Lou Valdivieso. George was loving father of Ian Busot and Malayna Busot George was a disabled veteran who proudly served during the Gulf War as a Boatswain's Mate in the US Coast Guard. Following his career with the USCG, he served as a police officer with the Department of Defense and Force Protection at the US Army Corp of Engineers.
