George Wesley Cawthon, 73, of Oklahoma City, passed away on April 4, 2025. He was born on January 3rd, 1952, in Oklahoma City to George William Cawthon and Edna Irene Cawthon (Tate).
George had a love of singing and used his talents to sing in a choir. Some of his favorite pastimes include bowling, eating, and spending time reading. He never met a dog he didn't love. He was a big fan of his dog, Bella, and loved spending time with her.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister Sharon Trujillo, nieces and nephews Joaquin Trujillo and wife Stephanie, Yolanda Trujillo-Cox and husband Danny, Alisha Trujillo, Shannon Cawthon, David Cawthon, Tara Cawthon, Katie Cawthon, Mariah Hunter, Ricci Kawaykla and husband Jeff, great- nieces and great- nephews Kaden Trujillo, Korvin Trujillo, Alyssa Trujillo-Cox, Da'lyn Cox, Alyana Cox, Jadyn Givens, Christopher Barton, Cameron Barton, Brendon Barton, Lana Ramirez, Ramon Ramirez, Emberlyn Kawaykla, the twins- Oakley and Abiyah Kawaykla, Rico Colbert, great- great nieces and nephew Araeyah Ivy, Kylan Ivy, and Aunisty Ivy.
Preceding him in death are his parents George and Edna, three brothers Paul Cawthon, David Cawthon, and Larry Cawthon and two nephews Christian and Joshua Cawthon.
