George Enoch Crable, age 46, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on October 29, 2025. He was born on December 3, 1978, in Springfield, to his loving mother and father, Leonard and Jan Crable.
George lived his life with passion and purpose, always embracing adventure and cherishing the people he loved. He adored his family and his two cats, Levi and Nash. George found great joy in traveling-especially through the mountains and the many National Parks he visited. He truly lived as though he knew life would be short, filling every moment with laughter, curiosity, and appreciation for the world around him.
He worked in the Acquisitions Department at O'Reilly Auto Parts, where he enjoyed the opportunities to travel and the friendships he built along the way. His colleagues and friends will remember his kindness, humor, and enthusiasm for both his work and life's adventures.
George is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Crable.
George is survived by his mother, Jan Crable; his sisters, Stephanie Crable and Tillie Woods (Brian); his nephew, Braden Woods; his niece and her husband, Riley and Cameron Pope; and their son, Krew. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn North Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri on November 19th at 11:00.
George's favorite quote captures the way he lived his life: "Life is so short, so live hard."
