Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Feb. 17, 2026.
Nadine Baker was born March 16, 1944. She passed away peacefully in her home of natural causes with her family by her side on February 7, 2026 at the age of 81.

Her parents were Elmer and Brooksie (Simpson) Addington. She grew up in Missouri and traveled back and forth to Washington state. She lived in Washington state for ten years before moving back home to Missouri.

She married Bob Hodges. They had 4 children; Lisa, Teresa, Darin, and Doug Hodges. She later married Al Baker and was married to him until his death.

Nadine loved everyone. She was always helping someone. She went into nursing at a very young age and finally retired as an RN, working in the nursing field over 40 years. She was able to help people daily. She worked at Skaggs Hospital, several nursing homes, Mercy Hospital, with her last job being a Home Health nurse.

She volunteered at the Thrift store in Forsyth. She loved working with everyone there.

She attended Hercules church until she was no longer able to attend. She loved her church family. We know the Lord is going to tell her, "Well done thou good and faithful servant."

She was proceeded in death by her mother and father, her sisters, Oma Seward, Janice White, and Linda Addington.

She is survived by her four children, four grandchildren, and one great granddaughter, two brothers, Eual and Danny Addington, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nadine's honor at the Homstead School, PO Box 272, Taneyville, MO 65759. She supported this school and would love that.
