George visited Kgautswane community center to give crop farming lessons to some of the community members. We shall always remember him. May his wisdom live for ever.

I had the privilege to know and work with George when we were high school vo- ag teachers in the early 1970s, when he taught at Hawkeye Tech. and again when I was Cerro Gordo county extension director and he was our extension crop specialist. It was a blessing our career paths crossed so many times. George was a wonderful and caring man. He will be missed. My sincere sympathy to his family.
