Casandra "Sandy" Cummins

Casandra "Sandy" Lee Cummins, 51, of Independence, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2025. Sandy was known for her love of bowling and her years as head coach of the Simon Kenton Bowling Team, as well as her role as general manager at Super Bowl Bellewood Lanes. She had a bright, joyful spirit and a smile that lit up every room. Above all, Sandy loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Colsen James "CJ" Cummins. Left to cherish Sandy's memory are her mother, Michele (Dominic) Colangelo, father, Richard (Rose) Nordmeyer, son, Jonathan (Selena Mingua) Cummins, parents-in-law; Charles and Glenda Cummins, brother, Andrew (Amy) Nordmeyer, niece and nephew, Haylee and Hunter Nordmeyer, step-brothers, Ronnie (Crystal) Owens and Dominick (Rebecca) Colangelo, step-sister, Dawn (Haim) Grinstan. While there are too many beloved family members to name individually, please know that each and every one of you held a special place in Sandy's heart. She loved you all deeply and cherished the bond she shared with each of you.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, September 8, 2025 at Dobbling Funeral Home, 106 S. Fort Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the Dobbling Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
