Services for George Daniel Davidson will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North with Bro. Ronnie Boles officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery in Chunky, MS. Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes are honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
Mr. Davidson, 50, of Meridian, passed away in the early hours of January 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Daniel loved spending time at the beach, specifically in Florida, collecting shells and soaking up the sun. He also enjoyed fishing and trying new foods. He had a great sense of humor and was talented at making people laugh, which brought him great joy. He will be remembered most for being a loving son, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his sisters, Angela McNeill (Bobby) of Enterprise, MS, Gloria Davidson of Brandon, MS, and Dawn Sisson (Bryan) of Enterprise, MS; nieces and nephews, Heather McKelvain (Ike), Seth McNeill (Jordan), Reilly Cole, Reagan Cole, Hannah Donald (Dakota), Cayley Perkins (Jordan), Malerie Covington, Emily Covington, and Kiley Covington; great nieces and nephews, Lindsey McKelvain, Ike McKelvain, Kate McKelvain, Landon McKelvain, Jonah McKelvain, Charley McNeill, Aiden Donald, and Oakley Donald; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Earl Davidson and Hilda Joyce Privett Davidson; and grandparents.
Pallbearers will include Bobby McNeill, Seth McNeill, Josh Boles, Bryan Sisson, Mickey Watson, and Mike Privett.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
