George Davis Obituary
George was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Cleveland Davis and Mary Gillette Davis. Brothers: Leslie Davis and Grover "Buck" Davis Sisters: Mary Osman, Bernice Blakemore, Mabel Watts, and Josephine Crews
George is survived by his wife of 65 years Carolyn Howard Davis, two daughters, Kim Farris (Chris) of Jacksonville, and Tracy Phillips (Michael) of Jacksonville, his three sisters: Linnie Dawsey of Salemburg, Priscilla Watson of Beulaville, and Vivian Jarman of Jacksonville. George is also survived by five grandchildren: Coleman (Taylor), Blake (Caroline), Isabella (Paul), Leland, and Daniel.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Family Life Center at Bethlehem Baptist Church 4764 Gum Branch Road Jacksonville, NC 28540.
Special thanks to Liberty Hospice for the loving care and treating our entire family but especially our daddy with such respect and love for him.
