George H. "Butch" Davis, 65

LISBON – George H. "Butch" Davis, of Lisbon, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026. He was 65 years old.

Born in East Liverpool, March 6, 1961, he was a son of the late William A. and Zelma Mae Flannigan Davis. A lifetime area resident, he was a member of the Beaver Local High School Class of 1980. Butch was born to be a carpenter. From a young age he worked with wood and would later join the Ohio Carpenter's Union Local 171 in Youngstown where he earned several certifications. Even in his retirement, he still enjoyed woodworking. He loved his dog Zoey and cat Cali.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa K. Wilson Davis, at home. The couple married August 29, 1981. There are three sons, Josh Davis and his wife, Holly, Robbie Davis and his wife, Tana, and Lucas Davis, as well as four grandchildren, Carter, Kennedy, Dylan and Aiden. He also leaves behind a brother, Jim Davis and his wife, Terry, and two sisters, Joyce Janci and her husband, Leonard, and Venus Everson, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Rev. John E. Fitch will conduct a funeral service Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service.
