George W. Delgreco

George W. DelGreco, 75, of Hollywood, Florida, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at home peacefully with his beloved family. He lost his battle of many illnesses, caused by Agent Orange, from the Vietnam War. He served his country honorably from 1969-1970.
He was born January 19, 1949, in Pittsburgh (Allegheny County), Pennsylvania. Surviving family include his loving wife of 52 years, Sandra (Watson) L DelGreco of Hollywood, Florida; along with his son, Anthony James DelGreco and grandchildren: Brendan Hunter DelGreco, Kayli Rose DelGreco, and Chandler Grace DelGreco. He also has a daughter Casey Lee DelGreco of Florida.
George loved family, tradition, photography, sports, and his pets.
Remaining surviving family include his siblings: Lonna (Sciarretti) Spitaleri, Gabriel Ventura (wife, Linda) Sciarretti, Donna Lucia and Mark (wife, Dawn) Miller who resides in Florida. John (wife, Becky) DelGreco, Nicholas DelGreco, Paul DelGreco, and Dean DelGreco who resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
George was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas "Bugsy" DelGreco; mother, Florence Downey and brother, Eric Cannon.
Family and friends will be received, Monday, March 18, 2024, at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Boyd-Panciera from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with Prayer Service at 10:00 AM.
Procession to South Florida National Cemetery to leave funeral home promptly at 11:30 AM.
Followed by full Military Honors Graveside Service at 1:00 PM at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449 (in Lane #3).
Followed by a Reception from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Antonio's Restaurant & Pizza, 4551 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida.
