George Harold Douglass, age 69, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on February 6, 2026. Born on January 28, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana, George spent his life rooted in the community and culture of Southeast Louisiana.
George was preceded in death by his father, Harold Fenn Douglass, and his mother, Aurelia Elizabeth Simmons Douglass.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Jeannie Quave Douglass; his son, Hal Douglass, and daughter-in-law, Dawn Lynn Douglass; his sister, Sarah Douglass Bennett; and his beloved grandchildren, Lily Grayce Douglass and Lincoln Elliot Douglass.
George will be remembered for his dedication to his family and the love he shared with those closest to him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
