George E. DuBois

MEXICO, NY - George E. DuBois, 82, of Mexico, NY; passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Loretto, in Syracuse, NY. He was born in Oswego, NY; son of the late George A. and Mable Manwaring DuBois. George worked as a Forklift Operator for Miller Brewing Co. He was a member of the New York State and Oswego County Trappers Associations. He was also a member of the NRA and the North Mexico Methodist Church.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, trap and fish. He enjoyed traveling to Alaska.
George is survived by two children, Terri Zarzecki and John Skilinski; two grandchildren, Margery Buchanan and Gregory Skilinski and several great-grandchildren; along with his sister, Esther France.
Graveside Services will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025 in Peck's Cemetery, Scriba. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Russell Horning American Legion Post #601 Route 69A, Parish. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
