George William Goble, age 55, of Huntsville, MO, went home to the Lord surrounded by family on September 22, 2022.
George was born on November 9, 1966, in Arcola, IL to Virgil and Pearl Goble. He was employed at Calvert’s Auto and Body, LLC for over 17 years.
After spending seven years together, George Goble and Michelle Hawley were married on September 24, 2021 in Moberly, MO. George always enjoyed spending time with family. He was most thankful for his title as “Poppy” and “Pawpaw” to his amazing grandchildren. His family and friends will always remember him for being supportive, the “go to” man for everything and how funny and loving he was.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Goble; father, Virgil Goble and three sisters.
George is survived by his wife, Michelle, of Huntsville, MO; his children, David (Marjorie) Goble, of Moberly, MO, Jared (Breanne) Goble, Huntsville, MO, Tanner (Emilee) Goble, Moberly, MO, Jacob (Dezarae) Bailey, Moberly, MO, Christine (Olen) Bracket, Skiatook, OK, Ellen Goble, Moberly, MO; step-children, Amanda Ketchem, Moberly, MO, Amber Ketchem, Sullivan, IL, and Stephen Ketchem, Columbia, MO; nineteen grandchildren; brothers, Elmer Goble, IN, Virgil Goble, Jr., Elwood, IN and sister, Joy Julian, Elwood, IN.
A funeral service celebrating George’s life has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly with interment to follow at the Huntsville City Cemetery in Huntsville, MO. A visitation will begin at 11:00 until the time of service on September 28, 2022.
