Mr. Goodson is survived by his children, Amber Khayyal and husband Mohammed of Nashville, TN, Megan Beane and husband, Michael of Ottawa, Canada, Erica Nichols and Matthew of Huntsville, AL, and Brandon Stroud and wife Megan of GA; seven grandchildren, Kyra, Nadia, Ian, Maci, Brinley, Owen, and Evelynn; four siblings, Sherry Myers and husband Gene of Bonifay, FL, Jimmy Wayne Mixon and wife Nikki of Noma, FL, Johnny Wayne Mixon of Geneva, AL, CJ Mixon of Bonifay, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; father, Coy Mixon of Bonifay, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2024, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitch Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM at Peel Funeral Home.
