George Edward Grajeda was born Dec.4, 1935 in El Rio to Frank Sr. and Ida Grajeda. He was one of six children. George married the love of his life, Rosemary Frances Grajeda February 10, 1968. They were married 56 years. Together they have two children, Suzanne Grajeda and Stephen Grajeda. George will always be remembered as a devoted husband and father. George had a wonderful sense of humor. He was well known for his extreme kindness and easy-going nature.
George graduated from Oxnard High School. He served in the US Air Force for 4 years and then attended Ventura College. He spent the majority of his working life serving as a technical illustrator. He retired from Haas Automation in Oxnard. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, playing solitaire, watching History, Sci-fi and the news channels. He also loved playing scrabble with his wife Rosemary and enjoyed dinners with family and friends.
The Grajeda Family would like to express gratitude to Dr. Robert Moffatt and staff for their dedication and medical care. The family would also like to acknowledge goddaughter and niece Stephaine Duenez for visiting and providing medical care as needed.
The family will honor George with a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 11 at Santa Clara Church, Oxnard. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
