George Gerald Graton
George Gerald Graton, 86, of Chisholm, died Monday, July 29, 2024, at Essentia St. Mary's in Duluth.
He was born on February 27, 1938, in Chisholm, Minn., to Walter and Leona (Buchanan) Graton. George was a Chisholm High School graduate. George had lived in Coon Rapids and worked at Honeywell in Minneapolis before retiring to Arizona. He moved back to Chisholm in 2006. In his free time George enjoyed fishing and other outdoor activities.
He is survived by his Children: George D. (Melinda) Graton, Wendy Edwards, Brenda (Wayne) Gunderson, Denise Bartlett; 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and Sister Beverley Ekola.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife: Ardelle, Great-Grandchildren: Cole Licata and Damon Robinson, Brothers: Donald and Peter Graton, Sisters: Vivian Palkoner and Faye Heil.
Memorial Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Rupp Funeral Home chapel in Chisholm with Deacon Richard Johnston officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be in Chisholm Cemetery
