Bill Hart, devoted husband to Shirley Janney Hart, passed away peacefully on September 21, at the age of 91.
Loving father of Karen Juel (Anders), Kimberly Pennekamp (Russ), David Hart, Daniel Hart and stepson Greg Chako (Jay). Grandfather of Russ Pennekamp Jr., Alexandra Rowland (Charles), Tristan, Evan and Shane Hart. Great grandfather of Archer Rowland.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Shirley, his son David and his parents Major George B. Hart and Wilma J. (nee Diss).
Bill attended Withrow High School where he was a proud member of the honorary Sigma Gamma fraternity and Treasurer of his senior class.
He attended and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's of Design and was a proud lifelong member of the university's chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity.
After graduating from U.C. he embarked on what would be a successful 40-year career designing, furnishing, and providing maintenance services for commercial interiors. Bill counted among his client's companies such as Proctor ands Gamble, General Electric and National Cash Register (NCR).
Later, Bill was a member of Anderson Greens Homeowners Board and served 11 years as its President.
In his final years, Bill was a resident of Pinebrook Retirement Living where he enjoyed a wonderful social life among his many friends there.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 30th at 11AM, at St. Timothy Episcopal Church, 8101 Beechmont Ave. Recpetion to follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that memorials be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, www.hospiceofcincinnati.org or St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 8101 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45245
