Pastor Hartman deeply affected my spiritual growth as a teen and young adult. I remember our family´s first Sunday attending Advent Lutheran in Solon. Is this guy for real? Soon came to realize that Pastor Hartman was genuinely full of the joy of the Lord; and as a congregation, we experienced a true Shepherd´s Love and friend in Christ.
My favorite memories were annual family church camp at Inspiration Hills. Mary Hartman was also my role model as a pastor´s wife (which was invaluable as I became one in 1978). My love goes out to you, Mary.
