George was an avid sportsman. While in the Air Force he played many intramural supports and started his lifelong love of golf and bowling. He played racquetball well into his 80's.
But the real passion in his life was Frances, his wife of 68 years. Even in his last years he talked about their world travels, how beautiful she was and how lucky he was she chose him.
