George Hernandez, 77, entered into eternal rest on June 20, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Luz Hernandez and Maria Elena Hernandez. George is survived by his beloved wife, Martha G. Hernandez. Sons, George Hernandez Jr., Efren Hernandez and Steven Hernandez. Brother, Jesus Hernandez and sister, Flor Mendoza. Also leaving behind 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren to cherish his memory forever. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary starting at 6:00 PM on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr, El Paso, Texas 79907. A Mass will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Mission) Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. A graveside will then follow at 11:15 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.

My heart goes out to my cousins and Tia. I will miss my Tio so much he was a gentle soul. I loved hearing his stories in how he met my tia. Rest Easy Tio and give a big hug to grandma and grandpa. Love you
