George Iusco Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Palm Royale Funeral Home & Cemetery on May 8, 2025.
George Iusco, 76, passed away on May 6, 2025, in Miami, Florida. A man of strength, humor, and unwavering generosity, George touched the lives of many with his honesty and resilience.
Born on April 10, 1949, in Romania, George's early years laid the foundation for a life marked by determination and integrity. He graduated from Auto Mechanical School in 1967, beginning a lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship and hard work.
George married Maria, his devoted wife of 52 years. Together they built a life rooted in love and shared experiences. Their journey took them from Skokie, Illinois-where they lived for many years-to Naples, Florida, where they relocated in 2014 and spent the last eleven years enjoying the warmth of the Gulf Coast.
George was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on January 19, 1983. His faith remained a guiding force throughout his life. As a member of the congregation, he was known for his sincerity and steadfast spirit.
Those who knew George will remember his straightforward nature and sharp sense of humor. He had an uncanny ability to brighten any room with a well-timed joke or light-hearted comment. Despite facing hardships throughout his life, he never complained when asked how he was doing-always responding with positivity and grace.
George found joy in simple pleasures. He loved hunting and fishing-activities that allowed him to connect with nature and reflect in peace. He also cherished traveling with family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured by those who shared those moments with him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria and his two sisters, Valeria and Aurica.
A visitation will be held on May 10, 2025, from 06:30 PM to 08:30 PM at Palm Royale Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6790 Vanderbilt Beach Rd.
