Funeral Services for George Nolas Jarrell, age 83, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, will be held Monday, February 26, 2024, at 11:00 am at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, February 26, 2024, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. Tony Lambert will officiate the service. assisted by Bro Justin Anderson.
A native of Poplarville, MS, he was the retired owner of Flowers By Georgia and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He loved to be out in his garden and being out on the porch watching his cows. He lived a great life and was a loving father, papa and friend who will be deeply missed by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lemuel Jarrell and Hazel Stewart Jarrell; his loving wife of 50 years, Jimmie Nelda Jarrell; his daughter, Nelda Karen Fowler; stepson Keith Booth and his brothers, Shell (Tommy Lou) Ladner, and Elijah (Becky) Ladner, and Aubrey Ladner.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted son, Kem (Cynthia) Jarrell; his grandchildren, Maegan (Brannon) Jarrell Veazey, Brooke Fowler, Courtney (Scotty) Jarrell Welch, and Jameson (Beth) Rollins; his great grandchildren, Braylon, EmmaRae, and Cohen Veazey, Saylor and Kember Welch, and Jace Rollins; his sister, Jerri Bickerton; stepdaughter Kathy (Richard) Tarnok; step grandchildren, Kristian, Brittany, Cole, Brandi, and John Keith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
