He is survived by his wife Mounifa; daughters Mona Koury-Elias of Bethlehem and Valerie Stoury of Michigan; sons John Koury of Allentown and Victor Koury of Bethlehem; grandchildren Lamese, Keenaan, Skye, George, Omar, Victor, Alexandra, and John Thomas.
Services: viewing on Wednesday, May 1st starting at 9:00 a.m. in St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown with funeral service at 11:00. Interment following at Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall. The family will receive condolences in the church on Monday, April 29th from 5-7 p.m.
Contributions can be made in memory of George Koury to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh St., Suite 100, Allentown Pa. 18103. Arrangements are by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.

You have made your final flight into the wild blue yonder´s. George, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow war veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom and democracy. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender, have a smooth flight. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.
