Donald Korn Obituary

Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated from Roosevelt High School. He graduated from
the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Management.
Donald earned his wings in the Naval ROTC Program and served a combined total of
24 years on active and reserve duty before retiring as a US Navy jet pilot and
Commander of his squadron. He made his mark in the business world serving as a
Human Resources Executive for Honeywell, Youngstown Steel, American Can, and
Avis. He enjoyed traveling and playing tennis. Donald is survived by daughter Christi
(James Finholt); grandson Derek; great-granddaughter Anja; son Randall; Donald's
brother, Willard (Carol), their twins David and Debbie (Loren Fuglestad), 6 great-
nephews and 1 great-great niece. Don also had five stepchildren Jeffrey, Robert, Lisa,
Samuel (Juliette), Jennifer (James Noonan) Moffie along with 7 step-grandchildren. The
family wishes to thank the Quintanilla-Salazar family, Lorena, Matthew, Mi Mi, and
Veronica for their love and support of our father.
In lieu of flowers, the Korn's and Moffie's would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
There will be a graveside service at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Please check back for updated information.
