George M. Ledermann, Jr., 87, of Dumont, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024. Beloved husband of 67 years to Dorothy (née Hishon), who was the love of his life since the age of 14 when they started dating. Devoted father of the predeceased Michael (2001), James, Patricia Hoff and her husband Ralph, and Dennis and Donna. Cherished grandfather of Robert, Richard, Michael, Amy, Ryan, and Jillian.

George was born in Weehawken, NJ to Sadie (née Norris) and George M. Ledermann, Sr., he is predeceased by his parents, Sadie and George and his sister Mary Jane. He was a driver with UPS in Saddle Brook for 30 years. George was a U.S. Navy veteran stationed in Japan, Hawaii, and Maryland. He loved traveling with his wife and family and had a passion for antique cars. He loved playing cards, pool, and softball with his many friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 27th, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home located at 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 28th, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church in Dumont, NJ. Interment will take place at George Washington Memorial Park located in Paramus, NJ.
