Chuck spent a majority of his life in California working in the film industry as a very accomplished sound effects editor. During that time, he received many awards. A highlight was an Oscar for his work with Steven Spielberg on the film E.T. He worked on both Back to the Future films. He has credits on approximately 25 other films and TV shows.
Chuck is survived by his sister Ruth, niece Janice, nephew Steve, a great-nephew and niece, and several cousins. A very dear friend Carol, who was a great help to him as his health declined.
As per Chuck's wishes, no service or viewing will be held.
