Alliance - Earl Warren Moore, Jr., age 86, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his home.
He was born on July 6, 1938, in Sewickley, PA, son of the late Earl and Leah Teaman Moore.
Earl had worked at Braniff Airlines at Dulles Airport in Virginia for 28 years and at Sato Travel at Norfolk Navel Base for 20 years. He was a member of the Pointe Harbor Community Church in Chesapeake, VA. Earl was a native of Alliquippa and graduated from Hopewell High School in 1958, where he was the captain of the basketball team and ran track.
Earl is survived by his wife, Linda Anne Ball Moore, whom he married on September 17, 1966, the two were happily married for 58 years. He is also survived by his son, David Moore of Alliance and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 3:00 pm at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, with Minister John Tindell officiating.
Entombment will take place at Meadowbrook Memorial and Cremation Gardens in Suffolk, VA.
Memorial In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to t2t.org.
