George Neer Obituary
George L. Neer Jr., 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 11, 2022. He is predeceased by his wife Ella Hidock Neer; daughter Beverly Holmes; son Richard Mills and grandson Scott Holmes. He is survived by his daughter Cindy (Tim) Johns; granddaughter Michelle Tozer; grandsons Darryl Holmes, Dylan (Ashleigh) Johns, Nicholas Johns, Conor (Kimberly) Johns and Christian Johns. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. He proudly served in the USMC during the Korean War. He worked for Cloverdale, Dairylea for 45 years. Children and animals all adored him. He never sent away anyone in need empty handed. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 10am to 11am at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNEARL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton NY. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am with Military Honors. A reception will follow to continue the celebration of his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in George's name to the Handicapped Children's Association, 840 Upper Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13905; please reference George Neer in the memo of your donation.
