George Santee, 77, of Noxen Township, passed peacefully in his sleep following a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, with his wife by his side playing his favorite songs: "Tears In Heaven" and "Angel Falling Too Close To The Ground."

He was born in Kingston on July 11, 1947, and was the son of the late Joseph and Caroline (Lacina) Santee. George was a welder by trade and also worked with the flower tent. He loved working in the yard and flower beds and working on cars. George loved to make people laugh and he loved to dance.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin brother at birth, Jerome; brothers, Thomas and John Santee; sister, Barbara Stash; and son, George Santee Jr.

George is survived by his wife, Ruthann Santee (Rhone); sons: Jason Santee (Diane), Christopher Santee, Jeff Santee and Brian Harrison; daughters: Kimberly Gray and Heather Brennan (Richard); brother, Joseph Santee; sister, Johanna Wozniak; his dog, Bella, who was known as his "little princess"; the mother of his children, Bettyann Gross; and the many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that he was blessed with.
