George Seader Jr.

George Seader Jr was born in Longmont, Colorado on June 30th, 1918 to George and Elizebeth Seader and was one of twelve children. His family moved from Longmont and purchased a farm in the Tonville area (which is now Lochbuie) where he attended school until the 7th grade. George continued helping his father on the farm until he joined the Army Air Corps in March 1942 and was discharged in October 1945. In World War ll, George was stationed in Germany, England, and France. After his discharge he moved to Wiggins Colorado to farm one of his father's farms. His best friend's girlfriend introduced him to his wife Ann Meshecheck and they were married August 8th 1947. They had two children, George lll and Sandy. In 1958 they moved to Henderson, Colorado where he resided for sixty-six years in the family home. George was an airplane mechanic, truck driver, and carpenter. He enjoyed retirement by going to the donut shop to have coffee and conversation with his friends and loved going fishing. George was a Lifetime member of the VFW Post 4444 in Commerce City and regularly joined friends for breakfast at the Elks in Brighton.
George's unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus remained strong until the end.
George was survived by his daughter Sandy, his four grandchildren, Tori, Tonia, Adam, and Amber. Nine great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both his parents: his three brothers, Paul, Daniel, and Robert: eight sisters Mary, Katharina, Christine, Pauline, Lillian, Joann, Elisa, Katherine; his wife Ann; his son George lll, and his great granddaughter Brittaney.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday January 16th with a 10:00 A.M visitation and the service held at 11:00 A.M. William Johnson will be officiating. This will be followed by a luncheon at 11:30 A.M. After the luncheon a graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Brighton, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
