George A. Sensenig

George Ambrose Sensenig, Sr., 46, of Peach Bottom, entered into rest on Monday, September 29, 2025, as the result of a vehicle accident. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of George E. Sensenig, Jr. and the late Deborah Jackson. He was the husband of Rose (Trimble) Sensenig, they had been together for 30 years.

George was the owner/operator of GS Transport. He was a Philadelphia Eagles fan, car enthusiast and coin collector. George loved spending time with his wife, children, and dad. He will also be missed by his beloved Yorkie, Winston.

George is also survived by his children: George Jr., husband of Charrish, and Jennifer, wife of Garyn Burda; sisters: Meschelle Sensenig-Roten and Kris Brown; step-father, Bob Gerhart and stepmother, Kandie Kilgore.

A Funeral Service will take place at Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services, 227 W. 4th St., Quarryville, PA 17566 on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 6-7:30 p.m. The Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Hope United Methodist Cemetery, 75 Mt. Hope Road, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday, October 7 at 10:00 a.m.

Instead of flowers, donations may be made to Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. to assist with funeral expenses.
