Lawrence Thomas "Larry" Lucarino, 49, of Quarryville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Hospice and Community Care after a courageous year battle with cancer. He was married to the love of his life, Mary (McKee) Lucarino for 22 years, however, they had been together for over 27 years.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA and raised in Harveys Lake, PA, he was the son of Rosemary (Connors) Lucarino and the late Lawrence C. Lucarino, Jr.

Larry was a 1994 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Millersville University in 1998. Larry had a larger-than-life personality. His infectious sense of humor and gregarious spirit defined him. He was a gentle-giant, whose compassionate heart showed through in his willingness and ability to help anyone in need. He had a lifelong passion for volunteer fire service and training, beginning at the age of 14 with Harveys Lake Fire Co. He later volunteered for the Millersville and Bart Fire Companies. Most recently, he had been serving with the Quarryville Fire Company for the past 8 years, where he oversaw the department's training program. Additionally, he was a member of Lancaster County Task Force where he had a passion for collapse and confined space rescue.

Larry began his career in Safety Management as the Branch Manager of Brinks Armored Truck in Wilkes-Barre. He then held safety positions with Donsco in Wrightsville, Bird-in-Hand Woodworks-School Specialty Division, Armstrong Flooring and Exelon- Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station. Most recently, he worked as Constellations' Shoreline Specialist, based out of the Conowingo Dam. He was a member of the Lancaster Lebanon Disaster Relief Lions Club, Zoning and Hearing Board for Eden Township, and the Ancient Order of the Croaking Frogs.

Larry enjoyed hunting, Raiders and Notre Dame football, deep-sea fishing, vacationing and experiences with his family, and spending time at the beach. He loved hanging out by his pool with family and friends. Every year around Christmas, Larry had a tradition of taking a day off work to watch Hallmark movies with his mother-in-law, Bonnie. He appreciated good food and dining experiences, watching the sun rise and set and above all, watching his sons play sports. He was their biggest and loudest fan!

In addition to his mother and wife, Larry is survived by two sons, Frank and Vincenzo "Vinny" Lucarino; siblings, Christopher (Luann) Lucarino, Kieran Lucarino, and Matthew Lucarino; a nephew, Aidan, a niece, Raegan; and his Yellow Lab, SSD Monarch. He was preceded in death by a son, Caden.

A service celebrating Larry's life will take place at Wesley Church, 1104 Kirkwood Pike, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. (or 2:15 p.m. Larry Time) with Pastor Michael Brown of Faith Church officiating.

Interment will be private.
