George Sutton Obituary
Born December 21, 1935 in Fairfax, VA. He was the husband of Leslie D. Sutton. He was the son of the late Woodrow and Daisy Sutton.
He was an extremely hard worker and was the owner and operator of G.V. Sutton, Inc., Sutton's, Inc., and Roof Consultants of York. He had a passion for deep sea fishing and especially enjoyed the White Marlin Open in OC, Maryland.
He is survived by daughters Karen Greiss and Lisa Klein, sons Jay Sutton, Michael Sutton and Vince Sutton, one brother, Warner Sutton, and grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Louther, Esther Yessler, Linda Ruppert, and brothers Charles Sutton, Kenneth Sutton and Chester Ray Sutton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Seventh Day Adventist Church (corner of Roosevelt Ave. and Kenneth Rd.) on August 17, 2025. Visitation from 11:00 - 12:00. Service begins at noon.
