George B. Taylor III (Trey), March 30, 1987 – August 30, 2025. Trey was 38 years old. He was born in Memphis, TN, on March 30, 1987. He lived in Rockvale, TN.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of George B. (Trey) Taylor, III, owner and operator of Taylor Property Management. His departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will live on in the love and memories we hold dear.

He was loved by many and will be remembered always. Trey leaves behind his cherished family: nieces and nephews-Jaylaa (Tiny) Edgett, TJ Gosie, and Jaydaa Gosie-his mother, Starr Taylor, brothers Kris Taylor and Matthew Edgett, sister Haley Edgett, and son Bentlee Taylor.

Trey was a man of kindness, warmth, and compassion. He had a deep love for his family, found peace in the beauty of the outdoors, and took joy in using his hands to fix and create. His life was a blessing, and his legacy will continue to shine through those who knew and loved him.

"May the winds of heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear how much we love and miss you and wish that you were here."

He is preceded in death by his father, George B. Taylor, Jr. (2020), and his grandmother, Fay Cooley (2024).

"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart, I'll always be with you."

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Event Center on a future date to be determined.
