George W. Trott passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 surrounded by family at the age of 89.
George is survived by his 6 loving children Mary Joyce Wall, George Trott and his wife Linda, Patricia Trott and Larry Schwab, Veronica Caruso and her husband Rick, Renee Weckerly and her husband Craig and Suzanne Twyford and her husband Robert, his siblings Helen Lester, Dave Trott, Henry Trott, and was proceeded in death by Louis Trott.
George was the proud grandfather 12 grandchildren, Jason Laue (Cindy) Christina Walls, Vincent Trott (Caroline), Michael Trott (Stephanie), Christopher Trott (Amanda), Valerie Naylis-DeJesus (Luis), Jennifer Caruso, Ryan Caruso, Craig Weckerly Jr. (Amber), Ashley Weckerly, Evan Weckerly and Josh Twyford, and 10 great-grandchildren Max and Piper Laue, Mia Callahan, Charlotte and Sam Trott, Nathaniel, Andrew, and Finley Trott, Devon and Dillon Lockhart.
George was born February 13th, 1935. He was born and raised in Philadelphia. George raised his family in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia until he moved to Warminster Pennsylvania in 2004 until his passing.
George was a successful business man as well. George operated Hill Top Miniature Golf in Glenside, PA from 1960 until 1988. In 1988 George purchased and managed Hill top Miniature Golf as his own until he retired and sold it in 2007. He loved being part of the Glenside community and loved when families would come back to Hillside golf year after year.
George loved to spend time with his family during his time off, he loved spending time at the casinos playing the slot machines, camping and trips to Disney World with his grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 10:30 AM until a time of sharing at 12:30 PM at the Freed-Givnish Funeral Home, 124 N. Easton Road, Glenside, PA 19038. His interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA.
