George Uzzle, Jr. was born to the late Catherine & George Uzzle, Sr. on September 26, 1947. George attended Baltimore City Public Schools and furthered his education at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and later accepted a position at Johns Hopkins, where he was employed for nearly 20 years as a registered nurse. He eventually retired from this position due to a decline in health, but that didnt stop him from continuing to be the same very caring person he was. He would extend his hand to anyone who needed it. Later in the early 90s, he began working at St. Joseph Hospital in the dietary department. He was employed there for 3 years until an unwavering faith in God covered him through this experience and grace. He was given a chance to prosper for the remaining years giving the things he obtained to sustain his life.He met William L. Townes (Rudy), and they spent 32 years together until health issues struck again, causing George to remain in Autumn Lake care, where Rudy would visit George every week until God called him home on March 20, 2025.George leaves to mourn his sister, Judie Stevenson; nephews, Robert Jones, Edward Jones, and Brian Stevenson, who preceded him in death; niece, Iris Jones; close friend, Willie Mae Ross; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
