George Andrade Valdez Jr. passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at his residence. He was born on November 8, 1974, to George Andrade Valdez Sr and Willie Wilborn Smith in Jackson, MS.
George was a very giving and loyal person and friend. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. He was a great carpenter and could fix just about anything. One of his most favorite things in life were sweets, especially honeybuns. His family was his greatest accomplishment, and he was so proud of them. He can rest peacefully, knowing that he was loved deeply by them.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jorge Andrade Valdez Sr, and grandmother, Willine Adams, and step-father, Calvin Smith.
George is survived by his mother, Willie Smith; ex-wife of twenty-two years, Tiffany Valdez; sons, Tyler Valdez (Makayla) and Santiago Valdez; daughter Brittany Pittman; brothers, David Valdez (Tobie) and Jorge Valdez; sisters, Maria Martinez and Maria Perez; grandchild, Aubrie Brady; nephews, Eli and Jonah and his faithful companion, Snoop.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS, at 2:00 pm with visitation from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Bro. Earl Clark will officiate the service.
