George Vassos Obituary
MCALLEN - George Alberto Vassos, 61, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Mr. Vassos is preceded in death by his parents, George Vassos and Teodora Lopez Vassos
Mr. Vassos is survived by his wife, Ana Laura Vassos; five children, Jorge A. Vassos, Jaime A. Vassos, Cesar A. Vassos, Elizabeth (Jesus) Hernandez, Fernando Rodriguez, and Ricardo Rodriguez; seven grand-children, Xorge A. Vassos, Jeremiah D. Vassos, Zachariah N. Vassos, Elianna M. Hernandez, Brianna M. Hernandez, Lorenzo C. Hernandez, and Alexi L. Vassos; numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission with full military honors.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
