George Weeks Obituary
He was originally from Plainsboro, New Jersey, son of the late George Jr. and Dorothy (Sommers) Weeks and was the husband of the late Maryann (Rieszer) Weeks who passed away in 2018. They had shared 49 years of marriage.
George loved his family, going to the beach, fishing, and weekly coffee club with his friends. He was a member of the Reinholds VFW for many years.
He worked as an engine repairman for Martins Repair Shop and a machine operator for Calas. He is a Navy Veteran serving on the USS Austin and USS Ingraham in the 1960s.
George is survived by a son, George J Weeks (wife Tina), of Roanoke VA, daughter, Candace L. Keith, (husband Andrew) of Ephrata; 4 grandchildren, Owen Keith, Brandon Weeks (wife Lauren) of Salem, VA, Sommer Keith, and Dylan Weeks. George also leaves behind many close friends who loved and cared for him as family.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 11 AM to 12 PM at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Jeff Martin officiating. Interment will take place in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown.
