George Percell White

George Percell White was the fourth child born to Clifton and Ethel Bagley White in Lunenburg County, Virginia on May 5, 1935.

He attended Lunenburg County Public Schools and was baptized at an early age and joined Mt. Bethel Baptist Church in Kenbridge, Virginia.

Percell was Saxon of the church, became a deacon, served as chairman of the deacon board, treasurer, a faithful Sunday school member, served on the Men ministry, served as Father of the church and a member of the Kenbridge – Victoria Lodge #187, where he served until his death.

He was a loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Percell's greatest passion was farming, and he loved his cows! For a short period of time, he was a night watchman for Imperial Processing in Kenbridge, Virginia.

Percell entered eternal rest on Monday, December 29, 2025, at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Ethel White; wife, Frances White; three sisters, Suelivia Rhoades, Elizabeth Richardson, and Cathleen Pryor, two brothers, John and Lorenzo White.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Ethel Robinson and Edith Ragsdale; brothers-in-law, Bernard Robinson and James Jackson; sisters-in-law, Pauline B. White, Katherine Shell, Ruth and Luevenia Jackson and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great, great nieces and nephews and two great, great, great nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.
