George Anthony White

WHITE, George Anthony, age 72, passed away on January 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on March 8, 1953, to George Anthony and Claire Marie (nee Hoerst) White.

George is survived by his siblings William White, Deborah (Michael) Steding, Gary (Vicki) White, Darlene (Lew) Barton, and Annette (David) Pedersen. Stepfather to Nancy (David) Reichle, Jennifer (Jerry) Andriacco, Richard (Betty) Bastian, and Candace Clarke. Step-grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

George is preceded in passing by his dear wife of 35 years, Sylvia White (nee Rouse) and his brother John White.

George retired from Smuckers, a division of P&G. His interest in art sparked at an early age. He graduated from Oak Hills High and was awarded an Art Academy scholarship. He continued his education with a major in Fine Art at Eastern Kentucky University. He was commissioned by Smuckers and the Ivorydale Soap Plant for paintings representing their facilities. His artistic interest leans toward landscapes with a realism saturated with rich colors and a sense of depth and detail that draws in the viewer.

Visitation on TUESDAY, January 13, 2026, from 5:00PM until time of memorial service at 7:00 PM at B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Road.
