George Williams Obituary

A son of the late Raymond and Carrie Barth Williams, he was born April 24, 1938 in Akron, Ohio.
George retired from Consolidated Freightways after thirty years. He was a member of Unionport Masonic Lodge #333 where he was a 32nd Degree Mason.
George is survived by a son, Larry (Celeste) Williams of Navarre; three daughters, Tonya (Tim) Robinson of North Canton, Joyce (Sherman) Stine of Amsterdam, and Laura (Will) Evans of Amsterdam; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and dear friend, Jo.
Along with his parents preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Joan, a daughter, Tami, and three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services for George will be Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at noon in Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial will follow in Circle Green Cemetery near East Springfield. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until noon in the funeral home.
