Debra "Debbie" Ondusko, of Amsterdam, Ohio, passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, September 5, 2025, at Valley Hospice in Steubenville, Ohio surrounded by her family. Born in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ethel Ambler Warner. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1969 and later pursued her calling in healthcare, earning her nursing degree from the Jeff Tech School of Nursing in 1985. She devoted her career to caring for others as a nurse. In the 1980s, she was also an active member of Amsterdam BRASS, where she built lasting friendships and contributed to her community. On October 17, 1970, Debbie married the love of her life, Joe Ondusko, and together they built a beautiful life and family until his passing in 2014. She is survived by her son, Craig (Traci) Ondusko of Amsterdam; daughter, Nikki (Charlie) Glenn of Irondale; three beloved grandchildren, Aly (Marcus) Rawson, Nicholas (Kayla) Glenn, and Logan (Taylor) Glenn; and four precious great-grandchildren, Harlow, Henley, Lowen, and Piper. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Valley Hospice for their extraordinary kindness and compassion during Debbie's final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Debbie's name to Valley Hospice in Steubenville, Ohio, so that others may receive the same compassionate care that meant so much to her and her family. Funeral services will be Monday, September 8, 2025 at 7 p.m. in Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam. Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, Ohio.
