George Zipay Jr Obituary
George G. Zipay Jr. was born on August 18, 1952, in Streator, Illinois to George and Elverna (Breese) Zipay. He grew up with his brothers William, David and sister Janice.
He graduated from Streator Township High School. As a service member in the Air Force, he was stationed at Beale Air Force Base. He went to college at Sacramento State and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. He worked for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office for 30 years. Later, he graduated from the University of Phoenix and became a teacher.
He is survived by wife Shirley Zipay and sons Glenn May and Gerald Zipay.
